If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room to be treated.  

All “*Medically Necessary” emergencies and admissions are covered in your plan.

If you are NOT experiencing an emergency but urgently want to speak to a provider, we suggest you try utilizing “Healthiest You” 24/7 Telemedicine. As a Nova Member, you have access to a Teladoc Virtual Doctor that connects you with a board-certified doctor 24/7 through the convenience of phone or video consults, at no extra charge. Again, be sure to present your Nova Membership ID card when you check-in at the Emergency Facility. Nova Healthcare prefers that the providers bill Nova directly.

Every member is assigned a Nova Care Advocate to help you with questions about your coverage. Each time you call, you will connect with the same team who knows your health history and can help find a suitable solution. Your Nova Care Advocate is happy to answer your questions, go over your plan, discuss your options or listen to your wellness needs at any time. We are here to assist you by being your bridge between the various departments at Nova. Our advocates will speak to medical providers on the members’ behalf to explain the benefits and how the deductible works and verify benefits for members when required.
